"Drunk and in Trouble"

wasn t exactly the kind of phrase Ozone ever thought would change his life.

But after one wild night celebrating the end of exams one that ended in shattered glass, wrecked furniture, and a bill big enough to make him dizzy Ozone, just your average college student, found himself stuck working off the damage...
as a server at a high-end nightclub.

A nightclub owned by someone known for being cold, sharp, and completely allergic to smiling.

Ozone had assumed that someone like P Max didn t even have a heart.

But the more time he spent around him

The more he saw beneath the surface

The more his own heart started to waver.

"Then maybe you should ve just said it nicely from the start," I muttered, my voice low barely above a whisper.
I wasn t sure where I found the nerve to say that without lacing it with sarcasm or a snarky comeback.

P Max raised an eyebrow, and for the first time that morning, his usually hard expression softened just a little.
A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

It was the first one I d seen on him. Ever.

"I was saying it nicely," he said calmly, "but you re the one who always snaps first."

I scrunched up my face, reluctantly admitting he wasn t wrong.

"It s a habit Fine, I m sorry."

P Max looked at me less like he was mad, and more like he was amused? Maybe even fond.
A quiet laugh slipped from his throat.

Then he added in that annoyingly calm voice of his:

"Tch. Remember that, you little brat."

Of course, I wasn t about to let him win that easily.

I turned my face away in defiance.

"You re so uptight, it s ridiculous."
