I never wanted a bodyguard. Especially not a sniper who barged into my company and immediately got on my nerves. I didnt trust him. I did everything I could to make him leave.
When did that change?
Maybe when he smiled at me for the first time? When he saved my life? Or... maybe when he aimed his rifle straight at my heart?
Maybe it all began the moment I saw him weak, feverish, whispering someones name. I leaned in, breathed him in, felt the heat of his lips and kissed him. Without asking. I just... couldnt stop myself. I wanted it too badly.
Some people fall in love with the person who brings them coffee. I fell in love with the one who could end me with a single shot.
It all started with a silly question:
> "If I draw a heart on my T-shirt, can you hit it?"
> He said yes.
> I laughed.
And now here I am. And hes aiming for real.
> "Youve got one shot.
> Kill him."
> "Never."
Too much has gone wrong. Too many words were never said. But even now, I believe if I draw that heart again, he wont miss.
The shot rings out. My heart skips a beat. But love... Love fights back. For him. Only for him. Because sometimes the heart knows. Even a bullet knows the way to it.

I wasnt supposed to remember his smile. Wasnt supposed to worry when he slept. Wasnt supposed to crave his touch. Or feel jealous. I always knew where to aim. Especially when his life was on the line.
> "Well? Have you set your priorities? Who dies tomorrow your mother, or Roma?"
> "Stay calm, Nikita. Dont give in."
Because once, I chose hima computer genius. And ever since then, Ive never missed a shot.
