When prim, brand-conscious Chanthra Wongsawat returns to her hometown of Phrao for her beloved uncle’s funeral, she’s not expecting to inherit a mango farm, or find herself pressured to marry by the age of 30 to keep it. In a moment of desperation (and inspired pettiness), she recruits Savi, her herb-shop-owning childhood acquaintance, to play the part of her fiancée.
Savi has no interest in fake romance, thank you very much. But two days, one family interrogation, and a kiss-for-proof later, she’s in deeper than she ever planned. The farm becomes their shared stage, their safe haven, and maybe, just maybe... the beginning of something that doesn’t feel fake at all.
