Police Captain Khemika, or "Captain Khem" (32 years old)

A straight-laced, honest officer with an unyielding sense of justice, serving in the Central Investigation Bureau. Though her days are filled with corruption and drug cases, the unthinkable happens: her beloved brother falls victim to a scammer gang. The bait? The adorable, "kawaii" face of the famous idol, Honey (22 years old). The fierce Captain is livid, and her fury extends to the real idol, who knew her identity was being stolen but never filed a police report.

"Officer," Honey began softly, her small hands clasping tightly in her lap.
"About the victims being tricked... I really am sorry."
"Save your sorrys. The ones who are sorry are the victims who lost their life savings—God knows how many of them," Khem pulled herself back to reality, using a harsh tone to mask the strange feeling rising within her.
"You people knew there were so many impersonators that you had to issue an official warning. Why didn't you dare to file a proper police report?"
"Because there are so many! Too many for the agency to chase down," Jae Taew quickly interjected.
"But staying silent and not notifying the police immediately causes other people to suffer!" Khem shouted back.
"Honey knows that!" Honey looked up, locking eyes with Khem. Her large, round eyes, swimming with unshed tears, reflected the neon lights. They were sparkling and strangely magnetic.
"That's why Honey agreed to come see you, Officer. Honey doesn't want anyone else to lose money because of their love for Honey. Fans work themselves to death to save up and support us, only to get scammed by thieves. Honey hurts more from that than from being cursed at."
Her voice trembled, but it was earnest. Every word seemed distilled from genuine emotion inside, not a performance for a camera.
Khem stared at the sweet face filled with distress. Suddenly, her tough heart, usually calloused against matters of romance, gave a sharp lurch.
Damn, she's beautiful.
The crazy thought flashed through the police officer's mind. Seeing the wisps of hair falling over her clear cheeks and those peach-colored lips pressed tight, Khem felt like she was losing control.
Get a grip, Khem! This is a key witness, not your type!
"Ahem!" Khem cleared her throat awkwardly, avoiding those sparkling eyes by picking up a document.
"Okay. If you insist on helping, I'll take this case personally and keep it off the books. No news will leak to the press, guaranteed."
"Really?" Honey smiled through her tears. The smile was so radiant it seemed to instantly brighten the dim office.
"Uh... yeah," Khem felt her face growing strangely hot and hurriedly grabbed her cold, stale coffee to take a sip.
"But you have to follow my plan strictly. No tricks, no being stubborn, no being naughty. Understand?"
"Yes, Captain! Honey will obey everything," the idol accepted the order vigorously, looking as happy as a child.
"Good." Khem set the glass down, trying her hardest to maintain her cool, stern facade, even though her heart was pounding out of rhythm.

When a fierce Captain—whom her subordinates swear is meaner than a junkyard dog—must become the "guard dog" for an innocent-looking idol who hides sharp claws and a thousand schemes...
