Turnabout Attraction

Defense attorney Apollo Justice and rockstar prosecutor Klavier Gavin's rivalry starts with a literal collision in a courthouse lobby, but their sharp courtroom banter slowly gives way to real friendship — a chance meeting at a laundromat, a hard-won trial that ends in a loss, Klavier there to pick up the pieces afterward. As Apollo starts noticing what he's been avoiding, Klavier writes him a song entirely in German and performs it at a sold-out show; rather than ask for a translation, Apollo spends two weeks working it out himself, word by word, and hands it back the moment he understands what it says. Their relationship goes public messily but honestly, survives a blackout-turned-morning-after their whole found family immediately clocks, and deepens further when Apollo witnesses Klavier finally stand up to Kristoph, the estranged brother whose past crime shaped Klavier's entire career. Supported throughout by a loyal found family — Trucy, Phoenix, and Ema, who all saw this coming long before either of them admitted it — Apollo eventually proposes right back at the laundromat where he first knew, and the story closes on their wedding, full circle: two people who no longer need a stage, just each other.
