"We can share a bed, but we are not lovers. No jealousy. No boundaries crossed. And this arrangement ends the moment either of us gets bored... or finds someone else."
That was the ironclad rule set by Lita—the cynical owner of an exclusive lounge who stopped believing in love long ago. It was a rule perfectly designed to keep Prim—a brilliant interior designer who despises players—tethered to her as a 'regular arrangement.'
Prim accepted the terms. A brutal betrayal from her past had taught her a harsh lesson: a relationship without a heart is infinitely safer than risking it all again.
By day... They are the VIP client and the lead designer, clashing relentlessly at every turn.
By night... They are each other’s most intoxicating addiction, knowing exactly how to satisfy every dark, unspoken desire.
Everything was supposed to follow the simple rules they agreed upon.
If only Lita hadn't started letting her possessive jealousy slip through her icy facade. And if only Prim hadn't accidentally gambled her battered heart in a game she could never win.
When the fragile line between 'bedmate' and 'lover' begins to blur, one is ready to walk away to protect her remaining pieces. The other? She’s just realizing that her 'favorite plaything' is about to become her entire world.
